Children's Discovery Museum

To finish off the summer season, Safe Splash brought water safety awareness to San Jose Downtown's Children's Discovery Museum through an engaging arts & crafts activity.

On Saturday, the Children's Discovery Museum hosted "Let's Move Day," a day dedicated to encouraging children to exercise and be active. At this event, Safe Splash hosted a bustling arts and crafts activity, DIY cork boats, captivating over 200 enthusiastic participants. Children eagerly crafted their own boats, fostering creativity and hands-on learning. Members integrated water safety lessons into the DIY activity, resulting in parents and kids alike learning about essential water safety tips while having fun. By combining play with practical knowledge, members effectively raised awareness about the importance of water safety in a fun and memorable way.
